Carl Plym took over the very well-known Stockholms Båtbyggeri in Saltsjöbaden at only 25 years old in 1925. The shipyard, which his father August had built up to one of Sweden's most renowned, known for its high quality and high finish.

Compared to his father, however, Carl was just as interested in sailing as he was in motorboating, and now the construction of motorboats also began to appear on the shipyard's stacks.

With Carl, a more modern production approach also came in. And the boat model that became the first to go into series production at the shipyard was the Plymsexan model.

Today, however, there is only one known Plymsexa left and we have now got it for sale. A unique racer that was found abandoned in Malmö in the late 1990s and has since been transformed and rebuilt in a very serious and thoughtful way into a racer with speed resources well over 40 knots. Under the foredeck rests a tuned and built Marine Power 350 V8 of over 300 hp, which makes the boat a really fun toy to have at the dock. We have now also lifted her from worn out to a very nice condition and she is now ready to be your toy for summer water games.
