PHANTOM - 345,000 SEK

Phantom was built at Västerbrovarvet by engineer Lars Larsson, who had his internship at the shipyard during his engineering education at Stockholm Institute of Technology. The boat was built to compete in the then major competition Mälaren Rumt and also started in this competition in the summer of 1937, then with a Universal six under the engine hatches. The drawings came from the magazine Motornyheterna, which for a number of years in the mid-1930s, marketed the racing boat sport extensively by selling drawings for self-building from the American racing boat designer Bruce Crandall.

After the competition, the boat was rebuilt to its current, slightly more practical appearance with a window and a new deck and was used as such until the end of the 1950s when she was laid up at Rudén's shipyard on Runmarö in the Stockholm archipelago.

In 1988 the boat was found by Didrik Rudling who spent four years renovating her to her current incredibly fine condition. In 2006 she was purchased by the current owner and is now in excellent condition.
