KRAL 990 - 895,000 SEK

Kral 700 came to Sweden in the mid-00s. A really nice boat that flirted with both history and the future with seductive lines. The mix of mahogany and dark blue plastic was very successful and the fact that the boat then ran really well made it a really fun player for those looking for a day cruiser with that little something extra.

What few knew was that the shipyard down in Turkey was actually largely Swedish-owned. An ownership that had come about somewhat haphazardly but which resulted in a certain Swedish touch to the whole thing.

Of course, the Swedish owner also went with Kral. But the little 705 felt too small for his home waters. So when the designer at the factory showed drawings of a 9.9-meter big sister, that's what was ordered.

Since then this majestic day cruiser has been used - and used a lot. It is still with its first owner and is now in the final stages of an extensive refurbishment and overhaul so that she is now starting to be in very nice condition again.

During the winter, all exterior wood has been completely renovated, the hull has been polished in four stages, the electrical system has been renovated and much else has received a serious treatment so that the boat will soon be ready for a new owner.

Under the large engine hatch are two Volvo-Penta V8s that, at full throttle, give the almost 10-meter-long boat close to 35 knots at its peak.

This is not a boat for the shy. But if you are one of those who dare to be seen, this Kral 990 is a really fun choice. And you - there is only one. At least in Sweden…
